WE ARE RECOGNIZED BY OUR FRUIT

Matthew 7:20 “Thus by their fruit you will recognize them.”

The world judges religion not by what the Bible says, but by how “we” as Christians live. Christians are the Bible that sinners read.  For the sinner, the light is then focused on our holiness of life.  We are not chosen to be leaders in the church because of our “holiness”.  A prayer life does not really mean much to the world, but it is of the utmost importance to the movement of God and His plans for the Church. The Holy Spirit will not dwell in a spirit that does not pray. He looks for those who are producing good fruit and have a prayer life. As children of God, we should bear fruit so the world can see that we belong to God.

Father God, I want to bear a good fruit so that the world can see to whom I belong. Guide me to a more fruitful and prayerful life.  In Jesus ’ name. Amen.
